The National Day of Prayer will be observed again in Suwanee in 2012, and this year there will be an out of town figure.
U.S. Congressman Rob Woodall, whose 7th District includes Suwanee, will be part of the event. The service will be at Shadowbrook Baptist Church on Thursday, May 3.

This year’s theme is “One Nation, Under God,” part of our Pledge of Allegiance. The theme verse this year is Psalm 33:12: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,” according to Frank Ferrer, chairman of the Suwanee event.
“On May 3, there will be thousands of pray rallies across the country that day. These rallies will be held in churches, town squares, parks, etc. The purpose of this event is for Christians to gather and to pray for our country,
