An altercation between a man and a woman with a “history” together ended with police being called to Shenanigans late Thursday evening.
According to the victim, he was drinking at Shenanigans shortly before midnight on April 12 when he began speaking with a woman he described as someone with whom he had a previous relationship. The victim declined to discuss the nature of the relationship and advised the woman had been drinking as well.
The conversation became heated when the woman allegedly began insulting the victim’s father. The victim said he repeatedly asked the woman to stop, but she refused. After realizing the woman was not going to end the insults, the victim got up to leave. As he was leaving, the woman yelled something the man did not understand.
