This one-story building greets people as they drive into Avondale Estates from Decatur.
The former Liquidation Outlet store stands on East College Avenue, just down from Sams Crossing, and used to brim with all manner of stuff — mattresses, toys, furniture and kitchen equipment.
The business closed not long ago. The property was in unincorporated DeKalb County until July 1, when the annexation of the land into Avondale Estates became official.
