Patient Access Specialist
WellStar Health System is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to work at the new Acworth Health Park. The Patient Access Specialist interviews patients and/or their representatives to obtain complete and accurate demographic, financial and insurance information that are required for billing and collecting patient accounts.
The specialist also conducts intensive screening of all Medicare, Medicaid and managed care patients for pre-certification requirements and provider service eligibility, prior to registration.
