DeKalb County postponed its Earth Day events due to inclement weather, but Super District 7 commissioner Stan Watson along with commissioner Larry Johnson, several state representatives, local schools and subdivisions were part of an Earth Day effort Saturday to clean up Wesley Chapel, Rainbow Drive and Flat Shoals Parkway in nearby unincorporated Decatur.

State representatives Rahn Mayo, Howard Mosby, and Pamela Stephenson as well as local churches and DeKalb County were also involved in the clean up.
