Arrest warrants have been obtained by a woman in connection with a fatal traffic accident on April 11 in nearby Alpharetta.

George Gordon, spokesman for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety, said charges have been made against the driver of the vehicle that investigators say initiated the traffic crash.

Now that the investigation of the crash is complete, Haleigh Davis Fine has been charged with:

  • Second Degree Vehicular Homicide
  • Failure to Maintain Lane

She is represented by an attorney and is expected to turn herself in to police at 5 p.m. on May 16.

Edward Kivlin, 67, of Cumming, died on the scene. Police say a red Honda Civic struck a Nissan Pathfinder, which slid into the grassy gore area, struck a guardrail and overturned several times.

Editor’s Note: Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
