The HOPE Center in Woodstock is celebrating the success of its 2012 Walk for Life. The third-annual event was held on Saturday, April 28, at the Woodstock High School Stadium. Organizers greeted nearly 150 sponsored walkers who collectively raised over $50,000 for the non-profit pregnancy resource center and its thrift store.
“The Walk for Life was a wonderful success. It was a fun way for the entire community to come out and show its support for The HOPE Center,” said Cindy O’Leary, HOPE Center Executive Director. “It has proven to be one of our best fundraisers of the year, allowing us to continue to serve the needs of those seeking pregnancy and relationship support.”
The HOPE Center is a non-profit pregnancy resource center seeking to provide help, hope and healing to individuals in the community who find themselves with pregnancy and relationship issues.
