Hans Meier of Roswell has been a staple at the Big Shanty Festival for the past five years. The vendor crafts wooden puzzles, cutouts and three-dimensional “two-in-one” art. One piece, for example, is shaped like a cactus. Turn it 90 degrees, and it transforms into a tulip.

Watch in the above video as Meier uses his scroll saw to create a special puzzle for 11-year-old McKenna Speaks, a 5th grader at Bullard Elementary School.

For more information on Meier’s work, visit his website. You can stop by his vendor booth, located on J.O. Stephenson Ave. across from the Kennesaw Police Department, anytime today or tomorrow.

Check back in with Kennesaw Patch as we’ll have more videos and photos of the parade and festival, vendor spotlights and more.
