Gwinnett Police are investigating the Thursday night death of a Hidden Cove Apartments resident who apparently was caught in the middle of a drug deal that had gone bad.
Gwinnet Police found a 40-year-old black male in the parking lot of the apartment complex dead from several gun shot wounds. The man was later identified as Ulice Leatherberry.
Police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said that Leatherberry had been involved in a drug deal earlier in the day and apparently the buyers were not “satisfied with the drugs they had purchased and attempted to get their money back from the victim.”
