Nicholas Jackson Sr., the father of the Norcross High freshman who was fatally shot in his home in February, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant relating to a federal DEA investigation.
The 38-year-old Norcross resident, along with eight other suspects, have been charged with possession of drugs with the intent to distribute, according to an indictment filed July 25 with the U.S. District Court obtained by Norcross Patch.
The suspects were allegedly part of a conspiracy to distribute at least five kilograms of cocaine and 50 kilograms of marijuana. The charges state that the incidents go back to January 2011.
Jackson was taken into custody Wednesday at the Norcross Police Department, according to a press release from police spokesman Capt. Brian Harr. Norcross police
