The Tucker Civic Association and the Atlanta Regional Commission have come together to bring you the first ever Community Planning Academy.
Join us for this informative and inspiring night Tuesday, September 18, from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Tucker High School auditorium. Learn about the Tucker Lifelong Community (TLC) initiative as we share survey results, hear from speakers, and sign up for our focus groups. Highlights include:
A short presentation of TCA’s Community Survey results and outline of next steps.
Information on services available to older adults and caregivers, including resources for accessing information or referring others in need. Speaker: Patrice Earnest, Atlanta Regional Commission.
The Villages Concept: an innovative community partnership model for supporting older adults to help them maintain independent and active lives in their community. Speaker: Jennie Deese, Athens Community Council on Aging.
