Milton sports fans will have a tough time deciding where to go on Saturday night. Boys’ and girls’ varsity lacrosse teams play in state championships at Lassiter and Milton, while while the girls’ soccer team will be hosting another state title game in Milton.
Milton High beat Walton 20-9 to reach the girls AAAAA lacrosse title game. Despite the Alpharetta Raiders losing on Wednesday night, it’s still an all-North Fulton game: the Roswell High School Hornets girls lacrosse team beat the Lady Raiders.
The Lady Eagles beat Etowah (22-4) and Mill Creek (21-3). On Wednesday night, they defeated Walton 20-9 on their way to the state title game against the Hornets.
The Hornets won prior playoff games against Lassiter High School on May 9 (18-14) and Harrison (9-8) on May 12. But they finally clenched their place in the championship game Wednesday night
