The City of Austell City Council holds its pre-agenda meeting at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
Wednesday
The South Cobb Business Association holds its monthly meeting at the South Cobb Community Center at 11:45 a.m. This week’s speaker is Mark Butler, commissioner for the Georgia Department of Labor. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door and cost $20 for non-members.
Thursday
The Austell Community Partnership will hold its monthly meeting at the South Cobb Recreation Center at 10-11:30a.m. Various speakers will compose a panel to discuss the upcoming Transportation Investment Act/TSPLOST referendum. The panel consists of speaker from the Metro Atlanta Voter Education Network, Faye DiMassimo of Cobb County DOT, and Ron Sifen, columnist with the MDJ.
