Mark your calendars: Taste of Chamblee is set for its fifth year of food, fun, music and art. The festival, which has free admission, will be on Sept. 15 from noon to 8 p.m. on Peachtree and Broad Streets in front of Chamblee City Hall. From noon to 6 p.m., the festival is in full swing. From 6 to 8 p.m., it becomes the After Party Concert.
More than 20 local restaurants will participate in the event, serving up samples of their specialties in exchange for food tickets. Food tickets will cost $1 each and generally items cost one to four food tickets. Some of the restaurants scheduled to participate include Maison Robert, Newk’s Express Cafe, Vintage Pizzeria, Stir Crazy and Mad Italian.
