Is Newt Gingrich deluding himself at this point? Or is he finally considering dropping out of the race for the GOP nomination?

On Tuesday, Gingrich lost all five primaries to former Massachussetts Gov. Mitt Romney. Scoring wins in Connecticut, Delaware, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania and New York, Romney hasn’t officially won the race, according to a Los Angeles Times report, but Gingrich and former Rep. Ron Paul, although still running, have been mathematically eliminated from contention.

Gingrich has only won two primaries so far, in Georgia and South Carolina. Tuesday night he reiterated his pledge to carry the fight all the way to the Republican convention in Tampa, but he also admitted he would “reassess” his presidential bid in the coming days.
