Cinco de Mayo is known as a time for margaritas, music and fun! So, South Cobb Patch rounded up six events in South Cobb for this special day.
Cinco de Mayo is probably the biggest day of the year for Mexico Lindo. Close to 1,000 people will stop by the Mableton restaurant for drinks and food, dancing and music. Last year, the restaurant expanded its patio just for the Cinco de Mayo bash. The entire back parking lot of the restaurant becomes an outdoor eating area and dance floor. Inside, patrons reach out to catch flying beads and other giveaways.
“We’re going to have a little bit of everything,” said Mexico Lindo owner Christian Echeverry. “It’s just going to be a good ol’ time. Each year gets larger and larger. I don’t really know what to expect this year.”
