The civil lawsuit against the Judge Rotenberg Center for the treatment of then 18-year-old Andre McCollins in 2002, ended yesterday when both sides reached a settlement, according to Myfoxboston.com. The jury had been in deliberations for less than a day to determine if the six hours of restraint and shock treatments that McCollins received was treatment or torture.
Cheryl McCollins plans on attending the Occupy Judge Rotenberg Center rally that will take place on June 2.
