Stephenson High School running back Mike Davis, who was named “Player of the Week” in Stone Mountain-Redan Patch in September, October, and November, isn’t going to be a Florida Gator, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
The newspaper reports that Davis de-committed to the University of Florida on Sunday night, close to a year after committing to it.
Davis explained in the AJC article: “Things happened; there was a misunderstanding with the Florida coaches. I can’t comment on what went wrong. It just wasn’t meant to be. Some things happened, and I don’t want to comment on what happened.”
Davis told the AJC that he is scheduling visits to several schools, including Florida State, South Carolina, Alabama and Miami. The news organization also reported that he made a recruiting
