A firefighter’s home in Stone Mountain was destroyed by a fire Friday morning, according to a WSB report.
The home belonged to Atlanta Fire Department Battalion Chief Walter Parker, WSB said. He told the station he smelled smoke around 3 a.m. The fire started in the basement.
The home is located on Hemmingway Court, WSB said.
