Five Year Old From Grayson Drowns – Loganville-Grayson Patch
A five-year-old from Grayson was one of two young girls who drowned on Sunday in an in-ground pool at a home in Dallas. The victims were identified as Sophia Juarez, a resident of the home, and Mia Penoyer of Grayson.
Penoyer’s grandmother, 58, was home Sunday with the girls and made a phone call lasting approximately 45 minutes. According to Sgt. Bill Gorman of the Dallas Police Department, it was during this time that the girls left the house and ventured to the swimming pool. They were not swimming at the time of drowning as both girls were found fully clothed.
