Quincy E. Pless Jr., 88, of Powder Springs, passed away Thursday.
Services were held Saturday at West Cobb Funeral Home, with Rev. Frank Burnett officiating. Interment followed at Bethel Cemetery in Abingdon, Virginia.
A native of Mountain City, TN, Mr. Pless was a retired police officer with the Bristol Police Department in Bristol, TN. He retired from the Georgia State University Police Department and was a member of the Virginia Avenue Methodist Church in Bristol, TN.
Mr. Pless was a veteran of the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife, Betty Pless of Powder Springs; sons, Danny Joe Pless and Jerry Lynn Hagy, both of Bristol, VA; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and brother, Donald Elmer Pless of Hillsboro, VA.
