The agenda for Tuesday night’s Cobb Board of Commissioners meeting is pretty routine, but several items are of interest to specific Patches.

The board has its regular meeting at 9 a.m. in the second floor meeting room at 100 Cherokee St., Marietta.

  • The board will decide whether the Kroger store at 1690 Powder Springs Road in Marietta can continue to sell beer and wine. A county board recommended revoking the store’s license after an employee sold beer to an underage person. If the license is suspended or revoked, it would only apply to the Kroger’s Powder Springs Road store.
  • The board is set to approve a transportation enhancement memorandum of understanding with GDOT for the bridgescape of I-75 and Cumberberland Boulevard. The project consists of design and construction of a decorative structure on the Cumberland Boulevard bridge over I-75. The project will provide a gateway into Cobb County
