Decatur’s popular burger joint, Farm Burger, is planning to open a store in Dunwoody toward the end of the summer, according to a popular local food blog.
The local burger spot will be located in the Georgetown Shopping Center along with Goldberg’s Bagels, Starbucks, a recently renovated Kroger and other shops.
The restaurant will share roughly 4,000 square feet with Morelli’s Gourmet Ice Cream, according to an article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Farm Burger uses locally raised meat and produce in its two locations in Buckhead and Decatur. The “Farm Burger” offering is a fresh meat patty with aged Vermont White Cheddar, caramelized onions, with Farm Burger sauce. Add local bacon for $2.
Morrelli’s Gourmet Ice Cream will also be making its first venture outside to the Perimeter area. The local shop has two in-town locations.
