On Monday, Piedmont Healthcare will launch a system-wide rebranding campaign that will be visible in communities served by all Piedmont Healthcare entities, including five hospitals located in Atlanta, Fayetteville, Jasper, Newnan and Stockbridge; 50 physician offices; and 25 Piedmont Heart Institute clinics across North Georgia.
For 36 years, the Piedmont logo has included a cross representing the 1957 footprint of the health system’s flagship hospital, Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, which turns 107 on August 5, 2012.
“The Piedmont brand has always stood for healthcare excellence,” said Matt Gove, chief marketing officer of Piedmont Healthcare. “We put patients first and strive each day to deliver medical expertise with compassion and excellent service. That will never change. But, we’ve evolved from one hospital into a comprehensive system of care. It’s time to elevate how we communicate the spirit of Piedmont Healthcare with an updated look.”
