New Dawn Theater Company continued a series of 10th year anniversary events with a Beach Party Dance Saturday night.
There was a DJ spinning popular dance tunes, grilled hot dogs, tropical decorations, and vintage beach party movies. The Best of Brews provided beer, wine and pina coladas to cool off from the heat.
Guests donned casual summer attire for the July 7 event, which also served as a fundraiser for the community theater in downtown Duluth.
“The event was a lot of fun. We had great food, a cool beach atmosphere, good friends to help us celebrate, and lots of dancing,” said Sherry Ingbritsen, president and artistic director.
