The latest coyote attack was nearby in Roswell, last Saturday.

According to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution story, a Roswell family dog – a 40-pound Australian mix – suffered several wounds in an attack in the backyard.

Coyotes have also been a problem in Sandy Springs. City Council members have differed on how to manage them. Huntcliff Homeowners Association decided to hire trappers, last year. But experts say the animals are adaptable and move to new locations when they sense trappers, said Sandy Springs Police Chief Terry Sult during a February City Council meeting.

What do you think? Should Sandy Springs and Fulton County make a concerted effort to reduce the coyote population size? Or should we learn how to coexsist with them?
