Melton’s App Tap is doing just fine after an issue with rats temporarily shut it down in late 2011.
That’s the word anyway, according to a profile of the business in the Saporta Report written by Michelle Hiskey. (Hiskey has also contributed to North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch. Her feature about an actual pet detective’s mission to find a dog before a snowstorm hit Atlanta in early 2011 might still be my favorite thing ever on this site.)
The restaurant is still in the middle of their lawsuit against Pet Supermarket next door, which they claim was the source of the rat infestation which wiggled its way into their restaurant briefly, the story said.
