Fort Stewart will hold the annual Twilight Tattoo tonight as part of Marne Week, a weeklong celebration of 3rd Infantry Division history and tradition.
The Twilight Tattoo, scheduled for 7 p.m. at Fort Stewart’s Cottrell Field, pays tribute to 3rd ID soldiers past and present. It will feature soldiers dressed in period uniforms from every conflict in which 3rd ID has participated, from World War I to Afghanistan. Narration will outline the history of the Marne Division.
Prior to the Tattoo, 20 3rd ID soldiers will take the oath of reenlistment, followed by 20 future soldiers taking the oath of enlistment.
