A Marietta interior designer came out on top of Friday’s Design Wars.
“I didn’t expect it,” Lori May said of winning. “It just felt so good to be a part of the show and to work with all these other designers who had so much more experience than me.”
May competed against designers Allison Harper and Jason Dunn on the April 20 HGTV episode. The three designers each had the opportunity to redo a Kennesaw family’s kitchen and guest bedroom.
The family chose the designer they liked best and that designer, May, got to decorate the family’s living room.
“I felt honored they chose me to do their space,” May said. “It was a great experience, crazy but great.”
