A Douglasville man was found guilty of shooting and killing a Powder Springs man outside Cumberland Mall over Thanksgiving weekend 2011, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Last November, 29-year-old George B. Tabetando died from gunshot wounds in a fight outside Macy’s, and within a few days, Rosano Wensley Bundel, 28, was named as a suspect. Soon after, he surrendered to police at the advice of his attorney.

The AJC reported that the purpose of the meeting was to conduct a deal involving counterfeit money.

Apparently the deal went bad and the two men began fighting, witnesses said. Then, they said, Bundel fired several shots at Tabetando while chasing him into the roadway. Bundel fled the scene in a dark-colored BMW.

Tabetando was taken to Emory-Adventist Hospital in Smyrna where he died from his injuries.
