Man Arrested for Car Break-ins

A 50-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday morning for allegedly breaking into cars near Monroe Drive.

An Atlanta Police Department officer found the man rummaging through a car on the 800 block of Monroe Circle around 4:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23.

The officer found stolen checks from a previous break-in in the suspect’s possession.

The man was arrested and charged with two counts of entering an auto, theft by taking and obstruction.
