Most people in Mableton know Jim Mize. They’ve seen his Twitter handles, @AUSTELLMABLETON and @Jim_Mize, or are friends with him on Facebook at South Cobb. His videos are most of what pops up on YouTube when you search for “Mableton.” He even blogged often for South Cobb Patch.

Now, he’s getting noticed by the popular gay publication Project Q.

The publication points to two of Mize’s recently created YouTube videos about Chick-Fil-A President Dan Cathey’s statements supporting traditional marriage, Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day in Austell and gay marriage.

Mize isn’t against gay marriage exactly.

“My view of gay marriage is short and to the point,” Mize says in a YouTube video. “If you have a problem with gay marriage, hey, don’t marry someone of the same sex. Problem solved right there.”

Mize did, however, use derogatory terms “queer” and “f*ggot” to describe gays.
