Laura Faye Daniel, 31, of Brookstone Way in Loganville, was arrested Wednesday and charged with vehicular homicide and failure to obey a traffic device. She bonded out the same day on a $7,000 security bond.
According to the incident report from Lawrenceville Police Department, Daniel was the driver in a two car-accident in Lawrenceville on Monday that resulted in the death of David William Kelley, 80, of 975 Amelia Grove Lane, Lawrenceville.
The accident is reported to have happened at the intersection of highways 124 and 20 in Lawrenceville. Kelley was alone in the car at the time of the accident. Daniel had four passengers in her vehicle. The injured were taken to Gwinnett Medical Center.
According to Lawrenceville PD, no further information is available at this time as the accident is still under investigation.
