State Rep. Ed Lindsey drew some Democratic opposition for his seat on Wednesday, the first day of qualifying for the November 6 election.
Lindsey, whose 54th House District includes much of Buckhead, has drawn at least one Democratic opponent. Lynn Brown McKinney, a 58-year-old sales and marketing executive, qualified along with Lindsey at the state capitol.
Lindsey, whose serves as Majority Whip, also sits on some of the House’s most influential committees, including Appropriations, Ethics, Judiciary and Rules
