About a dozen businesses put their services or wares on display in Stone Mountain Village in the wee hours today (Friday) to watch and be part of the 11 Alive broadcast of its morning show at the gazebo in the center of town.
Some donned T-shirts that said, “Stone Mountain Village…Your Arts and Culture Destination,” which was part of an effort to get as much promotion for the Village, its businesses and creative outlets as possible while in Channel 11′s morning show spotlight, from 4:30-7 a.m.
Businesses and organizations such as Sweet Potato Cafe and the Artisan, The Miracle of Massage, the DeKalb County Library, the Visitor Center and more set up near the broadcast site to get some free publicity.
