There will be no cat or dog adoption fees in June for educators in Georgia, from pre-K to post-grad, at LifeLine Animal Project.
The animal protection organization is waiving its standard $80-$120 pet adoption fees for teachers throughout the monthand allowing them to adopt a pet for free.
The program covers principals, parapros and almost all other staff members at public and private schools.
“Teachers are a vital part of the well-being of our communities,” says Rebecca Guinn, founder and executive director of LifeLine. “They deserve recognition and appreciation. We hope that any faculty or school staff planning to add a pet to their family this summer will consider adopting from our no-kill Dog House or Kitty Motel. We invite them to become part of our own extended adoptive community.”
All adoptable dogs and cats at LifeLine are up-to-date on
