Brendan Langley is learning what it’s like to be a high school football star while getting serious attention from major college coaches.
While the Kell High School defensive back still has another season to play for the Longhorns, recruiters from the Southeastern Conference — and especially the University of Georgia — are awaiting his decision.
He says he wants to announce his choice by Aug. 25, the date of the Longhorns’ season opener against Chattahoochee in the Corky Kell Classic at the Georgia Dome.
Langley already has made a number of visits, and is said to be leaning toward UGA, because “it feels like family there, like home.” Also high on his list are Tennessee and Auburn.
He begins another round of visits starting Sunday at defending national champion Alabama, which is in hot pursuit of top prep defensive backs, followed by Tennessee
