Attendees of the Stonington-based Coast Guard Foundation‘s eighth annual Tribute to the Coast Guard found out if Army generals can sing Tuesday night in Washington, DC.
The keynote speaker was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, who surprised guests by performing “My Kind of Town” by Frank Sinatra — but with a Coast Guard-flavored twist.
