Playing in their last tournament of the season, the 10U Johns Creek Cavaliers won their second Champs Wear the Rings tournament this weekend in Villa Rica.
This championship complements their earlier Champs Wear the Rings championship earned in February during their first tournament of the season.
Entering bracket play as the No. 1 seed, the Cavaliers scored five runs in their last at bat to win their quarterfinal game against the Home Plate Chilidogs – Clay.
The Cavaliers continued their last inning heroics in the semifinals by scoring four runs in their last at bat to beat the Alpharetta Titans 8-7. The Cavaliers won the championship by beating the Fayette Redhawks, who had entered the game on a 20 game winning streak, 12-6.
