SAVANNAH, GA –
Back by popular demand, hundreds of you stopped in to one of our Identity Safe Recycling locations Saturday, and trusted us with your most sensitive documents.
The event started at 9 am, but that didn’t stop folks from lining up at the Chatham County Resource Conservation Center, hours before!
The event is sponsored by WSAV, ShredEx, Seacoast Bank and Goodwill.
News 3 personalities were on hand to help collect items, so we can all work to reduce our carbon foot print.
David Nash with the Chatham County Public Works Department says we all need to do our part.
βThe state of Georgia did a study and 33 percent of all waste is paper. So if we can do one small green thing and help keep some of that out of the landfill; this is a very helpful event.β
