Commuters using the Ashford Dunwoody Road access to I-285 will see a lot of construction during the next two weeks, which could cause some delays.
The heavily trafficked interchange is being reconfigured to a “diverging diamond” design that is designed to reduce traffic by 20 percent in the long run.
Ramp construction will be going on at the intersection, including concrete work and utility relocation, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The good news is no lane closures are expected during this construction phase.
