Michael Parson, wanted in connection with the shooting of Adina Parson on April 20, has been arrested near Tyler, Texas.
Parson was arrested by the Texas Highway Patrol following a traffic stop just before midnight Saturday. At the time of his arrest, he was in possession of the green Honda Civic, which police mentioned in a Friday statement. He was taken into custody without incident. He is being held in the Van Zandt County Jail in Canton, Texas.
Sandy Springs Police issued warrants for Michael Parson, on Friday. Adina Parson suffered eight gunshot wounds, three in the head, in the late night hours of April 20, outside her apartment at Residences of Morgan Falls off Roswell Road.
She remains in critical condition at Grady Hospital.
