Editor’s Note: The following is a news release issued by HomeFront.
As many families are getting ready to spend Mother’s Day with their loved ones on May 13, HomeFront is ramping up to fight family homelessness, with Run for Hope, a 5K run and one-mile walk the day before, on Saturday, May 12.
Heather Lyon, HomeFront’s Special Projects Coordinator and Run for Hope Race Director says, “The event is open to everyone—all ages—and you can walk if you are not a runner. If you want to, you can stand at the finish line and cheer. All of the proceeds will go to fight family homelessness right here in our own community.”
The Run for Hope will be held at the Educational Testing Service campus off Rosedale Road in Lawrence Township. The run is a USATF-certified 5K course (NJ 09011LMB) and a Grand Prix
