The city of Hinesville is seeking a case manager in the Community Development Department. The minimum starting salary for the position is $31,640.40 plus benefits. The posistion is open to applications until July 18 at 5 p.m.
The department is responsible for securing grant funds for programs from housing assistance and homeless prevention to downtown revitalization. Major duties of a case manager would include managing a caseload of 25-35, completing home visits and phone contacts to assess program eligibility and compliance, and working with the department to ensure appropriate plans are in place for program participants.
The job requires an associate’s degree in social work or specialized training related to case management and two to three years of experience in case management.
