The EAV Farmers Market opened last week and will be operating every Thursday through Dec. 13 from 4 p.m. through 8 p.m. at 561 Flat Shoals Ave.
One thing that makes farmers markets popular in general is customers’ ability to meet and speak with the people who grow their food.
Another draw is it’s locally grown and supports the local and state agricultural economies.
So each week, East Atlanta Patch, in partnership with the EAV Farmers Market, will showcase one vendor discussing what local means to them.
This week’s feature is Small Batch Garden.
