Exploring the arts…what a great way to spend a Saturday morning with your kids! My family and I recently started attending Family Day at the Georgia Museum of Art. Family Day events are open to the public and are all free, unless otherwise noted. Print It was the theme of this Saturday’s Family Day event since several new collections on prints and printmakers just opened over the weekend.
Family Days are sponsored by Heyward Allen Motor Co., Heyward Allen Toyota, YellowBook USA and the Friends of the Georgia Museum of Art. The events are held in the Michael and Mary Erlanger Studio Classroom located in the museum. On this particular Saturday, different areas were set up in the classroom for the children to try different print making techniques.
