A Fort Stewart soldier is facing four misdemeanor charges stemming from a fatal traffic accident, according to WSAV.
The charges against Fort Stewart soldier Steven Matheny include second-degree vehicular homicide, WSAV reported.
Police say Matheny was driving on bad tires on a wet road April 21 when he lost control of his car and hit the vehicle of 58-year-old Paul Stanko, who died as a result of his injuries.
