Organizers with Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB) encourages everyone to make a difference this weekend by getting a group of volunteers together to help clean up the county in celebration of Earth Day.
Saturday, April 20, is “Forsyth County’s Great American Cleanup at Fowler Park located at 4110 Carolene Way, off of Atlanta Highway across from the intersection with Castleberry Road.
Volunteers already committed to participate will meet in the large pavilion at the park at 9 a.m. for a brief rally and to gather supplies. Then, groups will clean up the community for two hours before returning to the Fowler Park pavilion for food and fun.
