A female student was attacked by a man at about 6 a.m. today in the parking lot of a residence hall, Kennesaw State University officials said in an alert this morning.
According to the statement, the Department of Public Safety is conducting an investigation into the attack, which occurred in a parking lot at the KSU Place residence hall near the student’s car.
The man is described as an African-American male with dread locks, wearing a ski mask, dark-colored sweater, jeans, colorful Nike tennis shoes and a dark-colored watch. He is said to be driving a silver car, possibly an older model Honda Civic.
The Atlanta-Journal Constitution reported that the description is similar to that of a man involved in two attacks in Atlanta this week.
The university is urging the campus community to use caution and remain observant
