SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) –
A solemn gathering on Savannah’s east side, as family and friends came to remember the life of Timothy “TyJuan” Randolph.
“Such a loving person he was, and he loved his kids and he cared for them. He’d do whatever for them to have the best,” said his cousin Tawana Milledge.
Dozens of people stood with candles off Martha and Coakley Streets Wednesday night, the spot where Randolph was shot multiple times Friday. Savannah-Chatham Metro Police said 17 year-old Devontay Small and 19 year-old John Small are charged with robbery and murder.
Police said the motive was robbery and credited the neighborhood with helping them solve the crime.
“Things wouldn’t have happened as fast it happened if wasn’t for the neighborhood, and we truly, truly, our family truly, truly, thank them,” said Randolph’s aunt Janice Milledge.
Through prayer
